Hello Muscles

I was approached to create a film poster for a short film called Hello Muscles. Written by Matthew Hurt and directed by Marnie Baxter. I wanted the film poster to instantly unpack the narrative of the film and above all stand out from the cliched film poster. This really became apparent when it appeared on multiple screenings with other films.
Summertime in Scotland. Victoria (11) lives with her mum and Trevor, her mum’s boyfriend. Victoria hates Trevor. He calls her ‘Twiglet’ and locks her dog in a cage. But when she catches him stealing, Victoria decides enough is enough, it’s time to build some muscles. Time to get rid of Trevor once and for all.
