Creative Circle Annual 2015

 

Description:
The Creative Circle is celebrating its 70th Anniversary. (Platinum). This year’s annual was based on the theme, ‘Truth’. The brief was to create an annual that featured the awarded work and editorial, whilst exploring the many aspects of what ‘Truth’ really means. The physical ‘truths’ of the annual were explored: Superfluous elements were removed from the cover. Using uncoated stock and blind embossing for type, it featured circles as well as gilding to represent 70 years. Exploded pie charts represented the weight/amount of a physical truth. For the work itself, the very truth of how each piece was submitted was explored.
